The victims were identified as Thomas Quintero Jr., 16, and Eduardo Barragan, 16, according to the Clark County Coroner. Both teens succumbed to blunt force injuries to the head and torso.
The fatal car accident unfolded around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pecos Road and Hacienda Avenue, marking a somber scene for local authorities. Preliminary investigations by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed that the teens ran a red light, resulting in a collision with another vehicle before striking a street pole.
