Las Vegas Authorities Seek Driver Responsible for Deadly Hit-and-Run Incident [Las Vegas]

Las Vegas police are currently requesting the public’s assistance in locating a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident. This tragic event unfolded on the morning of August 28 at the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.

The incident began with a physical altercation between a man and a woman, which escalated when the woman, in an act of self-defense, stabbed the man several times. As the man attempted to flee the scene, he was struck by an orange 2015 Dodge Challenger with California license plate 8MFG144. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the injured man behind.

Authorities have identified the victim as 39-year-old Auntrell Clark, who was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Clark County coroner’s office, the cause and manner of his death are still pending further investigation.

While the Dodge Challenger is believed to be unrelated to the initial altercation, investigators are actively seeking information to locate the driver responsible for the hit-and-run. The case is being investigated by both Metro’s homicide and fatal detail sections.

Hit-and-run accidents, such as this, leave families devastated and searching for answers. In these situations, the victims and their loved ones are often entitled to various forms of compensation, especially when a death occurs as a result of someone else’s negligence.
