At Behzadi Law, I can prosecute a negligence claim against the responsible person or entity for monetary damages in order to reimburse you for out-of-pocket and past and future medical expenses, as well as pain and suffering. What Do You Do If You Have A Work Accident In Las Vegas, Nevada?

I can help you file a claim with your employer under Nevada’s Industrial Insurance Act in order to maximize your rights to treatment and compensation under the law. Each state’s workers’ compensation laws (statutory system of providing benefits for physical harm that arises during employment) are different.

What Compensation Are You Entitled To When Involved In An Auto Accident In Las Vegas, Nevada?

Your entitlement to compensation for injuries or damages suffered in any accident begins with which jurisdiction (i.e., state) the accident occurred in. Some states operate under “no-fault” laws meaning it does not matter which driver is at fault. Under pure no-fault schemes, you, the insured, are indemnified for losses by your own insurance company, and there is no access to civil courts for monetary redress of harm caused by the at-fault party. Some states have a variation of no-fault and “tort.” Nevada is purely a tort state. That means the injured party must show fault by another party to recover for injuries suffered in a car accident and is entitled to sue for recovery. Additional insurance coverage can provide some compensation regardless of fault depending on your vehicle insurance coverage.
