LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – In a tragic car accident in Las Vegas on Monday morning, a 55-year-old motorcyclist lost their life following a multi-vehicle collision near UNLV. The incident occurred at the intersection of E. Flamingo Road and University Center Drive around 11:22 a.m.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Flamingo when they encountered a red traffic signal at the University Center intersection. Unfortunately, the rider and the motorcycle slid into the intersection and collided with a Corolla Cross occupied by a 45-year-old driver and two passengers aged 33 and 65. The impact also caused the motorcycle to slide into another vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man from Las Vegas.
